Fork in the Road...
Tom and I are at a crossroads regarding work and ministry, and the road ahead is untravelled. It seems we have some decisions to make, and right now we are just hoping that the way may be made clear. It's hard to know what to do. We know that God has our best interest at heart, and that no matter what, He will provide. For those that pray... Pray! I read this in The Daily Light this afternoon, and it is just what I needed to hear:
“Your will be done.”
I know, O LORD, that the way of man is not in himself, that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.—“Not as I will, but as you will.”—But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.
We do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
“You do not know what you are asking.”—He gave them what they asked, but sent a wasting disease among them.—Now these things took place as examples for us, that we might not desire evil as they did.
I want you to be free from anxieties.—You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

The 3-D pictures were taken on June 30th at about 27 weeks, and the other one was taken at about 30 weeks. I can't believe how big he is already; it seems time has been flyling and he'll be here before I know it. I have another ultrasound on Friday, so I'll get to see him again! He's already over 4 pounds. Good job, Baby Caleb! Can't wait to meet you!
