A new beginning

Today is day one of my first "cleanse." I'm tired of being tired... tired of "jiggling" (lol but not funny)... I want to WANT to play with my kids, I want to be healthy again. I'm praying that I can use this time to really think about why I eat, and to focus on what's important, which is Christ, my husband, my kids, and my greater "family," especially my church family who I can't believe I ever lived without! I am so blessed. Last night we had everybody over and I mentioned that I was overwhelmed with laundry and a messy/dirty house and Vickie, Tessa and Krysann all informed me they were going to help me this week. Seriously... God's loving me through them in such an awesome way. <3

Goals for this week:

1: Tackle one room a day! Today is my room, tomorrow, Caleb's. xo
2: Spend at least 5 minutes in uninterrupted prayer. It doesn't sound like long... but my prayers are usually short! :)

kids are so cute

Yesterday I listened to Charlie and his little friend Kolton in the car... they have the cutest conversations.
Kolton says, "Charlie, I'm going to Seattle soon, and maybe if my uncle has enough money you can come wif me!"
"I forgot what your uncle looks like."
"Well, he's a bald single man..."
"What does single mean," Charlie says.
Kolton got a little embarrassed and said under his breath, "oh, I don't want to talk about it."
"Just tell me," Charlie says.
Kolton then whispers hoping none of us (meaning Taylor and I) would hear, "It means he's not married."

I love it. Talking about being married is so embarrassing!

The Weekend of Milestones

This weekend (November 6th and 7th) Caleb learned to walk, Charlie learned to ride his bike without training wheels and Taylor drove a stick (on private property of course!). I am yet to figure out how to post my flip videos or my videos from my Canon 7d on the web. Anybody have any suggestions??!! The file size is too big and I don't know how to compress it. Anyway, it was such a fun weekend!

There he goes!

and Laila too...

He's doing it!

Tavis is just happy to be here :)
